Joanie has been active in real estate since 1998. She has lived in Winneshiek County all of her life and joined her husband, Terry, in selling real estate as they started their own real estate office in Decorah in 1998 through early 2015.

She has been heavily involved in the Decorah community including her local church, Decorah Schools, Luther College and Winneshiek Medical Center (serving on the Foundation Board). She also has played an active role with the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce on the Ambassador Board and has found her service very rewarding, a way to giveback to the community that filters down to her clients.

Joanie’s dedication to detail for the individual needs of each buyer and seller makes her a unique and valuable asset to her clients. It brings her great satisfaction when a happy buyer moves into their new home or a seller’s property is sold, allowing the owner to move on.
